Are You Choosing the CAT-ACCA Path?
Assalamualaikum and Good Evening?
So, have you chosen your career path? As for me, I want to become a Chief Financial Officer (CFA) in a well-known organizations. When I heard about the benefits of CAT-ACCA, I had to lay my hands on this ACCA certificates as soon as possible. Why? Well, it's because nowadays, organization require an employee that has ACCA certificates better than the normal degree in accounting. Let me tell you more about ACCA down below.
Before that, these are just facts I found all around the internet and from the people surrounding. You may add more at the comment's box down below and any inquiries shall I assist as soon as possible.
Okay, let us start!
I have receive a scholarship for this CAT-ACCA path. I will be enrolling in 2 weeks time. So, I can't tell you much about this course yet. InshaAllah, I shall make another entry pertaining this course later on.
2. It provides you with a strong foundation in accounting and finance
3. By completing it, you would complete your accounts support role in a technician level
4. Once CAT has been obtained, you are able to continue your study in ACCA and will be exempt from the first 3 ACCA examination
5. You will have to take a total of 9 papers altogether and you have to pass all of them to finish CAT
6. You will also take these 3 professional papers (FAU - Foundation in Audit, FTX - Foundation in Taxation and FFM - Foundation in Financial Management)
7. From what I heard, the hardest paper would be FFM because there is more theory than logic inside. It means, it does not deal with number so much.
8. From what I heard too, most of the papers are quite bearable. It is a combination of modern mathematics and additional mathematics SPM level. If you still didn't master them, don't fret. 9. The shortest path to gain access to ACCA. It takes a total of 3-4 years to become a member of ACCA using this path.

3. Gaining such qualification is evidence that the holder possesses skills and knowledge which are in high demand by employers in industry
